Hello everyone, Gwar here for a interesting topic,
Xbox One
Alright Topics,
Spec's
Yep OK spec's on this thing is as follows:
Octocore (8-core) CPU, 8GB of RAM and 500GB of hard drive space, and im asuming built in WI-FI and HDMI / USB ports AND a blu-ray player or drive or whatever you call it.
Games
Xbox 360 games Will NOT be backwards compatible with Xbox one. Xbox One is designed to play an entirely new Gen of Games. the few games i have seen for Xbox One are looking to push console closer to PC i think with the Graphic's and physic's. But PC will leap ahead im sure in coming years. But now lets look at a few down sides.
The Bad Karma
1) You have to sign in to Xbox live once a day. Either sign in or don't play, always on is a nightmare come true for some people (including me as of late) and the fact that we really don't know much about this aspect, is rather unnerving. some people might say, you don't call it "Always on" if its just on for a few minutes in a 24 hour period, but i say that's always on what if your power goes out for few days? what if you don't HAVE internet? what if you have to drop internet? what happens if you can't sign in in the 24 hour period or don't want to sign in cause your playing another console or doing other things? Incredibly enough, i believe i know their solution to this. Smart glass, and interconnected devices. That's right, what if you don't sign in on the console but you can sign in on a PC, or a Smart phone? or even a tablet. however this is just a theory, but the person with no internet, and none of these devices are still out of luck.
2) Alright second downside: Kinect! Yes i don't like kinect so sue me XD but in seriousness lol I believe the new Kinect will be an extreme improvement over the old version however i do see a downside. If you break the kinect, or the mic breaks, or the hardware stops working for kinect. What would happen? theoretically nothing you could control the console with your controller. But this is speculation by me entirely.
3)Third and final thing i see wrong with this, Used games. If you want to trade, sell or even give away a game to a friend or same with store, you might have to pay Microsoft a fee. silly :/ I don't know much about the specific's of this so i don't want to go into it much. But this looks really grim for Used games. Also i think the freedom of used games is being taken away by the companies.
Well that ends the downside, NOW lets go to the happy part :3
New look, New Feel
Controller wise, Its a score. The controller was developed to be the perfect game controller. With Kinect you could do a ton more as well, especially when the new kinect is almost ten times better than previous version's.
It is small, Sleek, and it has a front loading optical drive. That means you don't have some crappy plastic tray you need to open and close. Witch is a major plus, and the fact the Xbox One HAS A BLU-RAY PLAYER >W< HAHA. Watch Blu-ray movies, Play Blu-ray games, its the evolution of gaming to go to Blu-ray.
Now that Xbox One has Been revealed we wait for E3 to come about for more,

Now speculate?
